Something new is taking shape in the room: Ausgang Studio’s exclusive light research begins exclusively at 4 Years of DUNA

4 YEARS DUNA at Zoki's Warehouse

Four years ago, DUNA began as a vision. A space for deep listening, connection, and community.

Now, we open the fourth chapter.

To celebrate, we stay true to DUNA’s spirit: inviting artists who shape culture, many of whom are appearing in Sofia for the first time. After the huge night with Oscar Mulero, we are ready to deliver another special night with the biggest Danley Soundlabs system in town.

At the heart of the night is Rrose, legendary artist shaping electronic music for decades — a rare and long-awaited Sofia debut. The axis of the night is the space itself: Ausgang Studio presents a new light installation, marking the start of a research-led approach to light as architecture, rhythm, and perception — created exclusively for ‘4 Years of DUNA’.

Ness b2b CONCEPTUAL makes their B2B debut, joined by Ana Rs in her Sofia debut, Mohamad Kafarsoussa, and Modėrn as DUNA residents.

Once again, Etere brings brand, design, and jewellery concepts, alongside Giovanni Lo Castro and Zeyu Wang, shaping the night’s visual identity and atmosphere.

Secure your spot now, promo tickets are running fast.

We’re counting down the days until we reunite in the zone, shedding our skin, shaking off the old and seizing the new together on the dancefloor.

Ausgang Studio [SVK]

AUSGANG studio means creations by Alex and Radovan.

Time is always determined by the strongest medium, thus... we live in the digital age and the meaning of the digital - could be kind a key theme of grasping the narrative of the AUSGANG studio.

Their work is based on the faintness caused by the hectic interpretation of development of technological progress on the one hand, processes covered by environmentalism and the duality between reality and virtuality on the other. Thanks to the fusion of these, they warp the space of the installation in time, creating new and surprising environments that allow visitors to be absorbed by the situation, and perceive the physical reality of the exhibition in connection with its digital reality.

Rrrose [USA]

Rrose is the latest incarnation of Seth Horvitz, an inter-disciplinary artist from California (currently residing in London) whose 25+ year musical history weaves in and out of academic circles and electronic music culture. Their work is informed by ongoing interests in microtonality, the limits of perception, and the idiosyncrasies of machines, which serve to create a distinctly detailed, sensual and hallucinogenic form of techno that challenges the mind and body in equal measure. The project extends into specific pockets of the avant-garde, leading to collaborations with luminaries such as Bob Ostertag and Charlemagne Palestine and reinventions of works by 20th century composers such as James Tenney. On stage, Rrose often stands in the shadows, going by he and she interchangeably (Rrose’s name and image allude to Marcel Duchamp’s female alter-ego) – an implied interrogation of gender norms and artistry, albeit with a hint of black humour.

Rrose’s first release in 2011 on Sandwell District came cloaked in mystery as to its creator, as did the string of vinyl releases that followed on her own Eaux label starting in 2012. In 2019, after releasing more than a dozen solo EPs and even more remixes, Rrose released their debut solo album "Hymn to Moisture" to wide acclaim. As a performer, Rrose is revered for both his DJ sets and live sets which are crafted like finely woven sonic tapestries. Her performances have taken place for seated audiences in historic theaters and museums as well as for sweaty dancefloors in some of the most revered nightclubs and electronic music festivals in the world, including Berghain, Unsound, Labyrinth, Movement, and Mutek. The influence of Rrose's music on the development of contemporary techno is clear and present, and stands poised to continue well into the future.

Ana Rs [MNE]

Originating from pulsating rhythms and driven by an unrelenting passion for sound exploration, Ana Rs stands out as both a versatile producer and an eclectic DJ.

Ana made a significant mark with her 2023 EP "Take Me There" on Ben Sims’s iconic Symbolism imprint, solidifying her presence on the international stage. Her sound has continued to evolve, diving deeper into the hypnotic and experimental realms of techno techno marked by tension, weight, and intricate detail.

In June 2024, she released "In the Warmth of the Red Lights" on SEMANTICASvreca’s influential label - a release that reflects her growing influence within the genre. By June 2025. she debuted on Float Records with Not Yet Born, But Heard, a four-track EP showcasing her distinct approach to techno. Ness [IT]

Ness is the alias of Andrea Deplano, a pioneering force in the world of deep and hypnotic techno, with a career spanning over a decade. Raised in Sardinia, with a background in sound engineering and a passion for obsessive rhythms and atmospheric soundscapes, he has honed his craft to masterful levels. His performances and productions are a journey through the depths of techno, with a focus on hypnotic rhythms and immersive textures.

Over the years, he has performed at some of the world's most renowned clubs and festivals. He has also collaborated with severalrespected labels in the industry, showcasing his ability to seamlessly incorporate contemporary sounds in his productions.

In addition to his work as a producer and DJ, he has also made significant contributions to the techno community, sometimes as an event organizer more often as a label manager. In 2010, he co- founded The Gods Planet, an Italian electronic music label that

quickly gained recognition for its innovative and high-quality

techno releases.

CONCEPTUAL [IT] (Simone Scardino) crafts techno that sits between pressure and detail — driving, textural, and built for deep-floor hypnosis. As the founder of DUNA (2022), he curates a platform for artists who push forward without losing their core.
On the release side, you’ll find him moving through PoleGroup (Not An Easy OneNo More Excuses), Non Series(Between Sand and Roses), and DUNA’s first statements (Dinamismo EsteticoMai pe Jabbu).

Mohamad Kafarsoussa [LB], born in Lebanon and now based in Berlin, shapes sound with quiet intensity. His music moves between complex techno and fragile, experimental textures, a
distinctive mix of chaos and visionary thinking. Each track is a space where sound feels alive, exploring the edges of rhythm and emotion. His release “Eye for an Eye” on Duna caught ears worldwide, allowing the music to find its own place.
Co-founder of No More Noise and Avant-Garden, Mohamad is deeply committed to fostering a multidisciplinary art community that embraces experimental art and electronic music.

Modėrn [BG] (Daniele Miladinov) is an Italy-born, Bulgaria-raised DJ/producer and promoter, known for a forward-looking approach to electronic music that blends genres into a coherent, futuristic narrative. With an experimental edge and meticulous attention to detail, his sets balance hypnosis, tension, and unexpected turns that keep the floor engaged.

As part of DUNA’s core circle, he actively represents the label in Sofia through regular events, while continuing to refine his signature sound. Over the years he has shared the stage with artists such as Richie Hawtin, Oscar Mulero, Dasha Rush, Wata Igarashi, Kangding Ray, Anthony Linell, Svreca, Tensal, Kwartz, Freddy K, Setaoc Mass, D-Leria, and Psyk, and has played across Europe and Bulgaria, including venues like FOLD (London), Renate and the former Suicide Club(Berlin), and The Host (Thessaloniki).

Giovanni Lo Castro and Zeyu Wang

at our event with Oscar Mulero back in October 2025

They're returning for 4 Years of DUNA — live, in the moment, shaping the room in real time. Their practice sits at the edge of body, gaze, and machine vision: generative systems, hacked devices, and algorithmic narratives reinterpreted into something poetic and physical.

This isn’t “visuals” as backdrop — it’s a presence. A living layer that bends perception, blurs surveillance into art, and turns the night into a shifting interface. Expect them to do their magic again, exclusively for the anniversary.

ETERE returns for 4 Years of DUNA — with a dedicated corner alongside DUNA Merch.

A project by Giovanno Lo Castro & Francesco Canali, ETERE explores distant worlds, forgotten mysticisms, and ancestral forms rooted in folk traditions and ancient ritual — sacred and profane. Blending contemporary art with digital technologies and a posthuman lens, they craft jewellery and wearable objects through sculpture, 3D printing, and traditional goldsmithing: hybrid extensions of the body.

Longtime collaborators of DUNA across visuals and merchandise, they’re back to turn a small section of the night into a living shrine — where artefacts, memory, and futurism meet.
