Varna Playback Theatre - Shared Stories - Voices of the Heart

Playback Theatre is an improvisational theatre where art, ritual and social interaction meet to create a unique environment in which the personal stories of the audience are "brought back" by the actors and musicians of the moment.

 

Sometimes the voice does not come from the mouth – it comes from within. Sometimes it sounds loud, other times it whispers. Sometimes we are afraid to hear it. But when we give it space – the heart speaks.

This evening is dedicated to the stories that carry their own voice – quiet, gentle, stubborn, rebellious or vulnerable. Stories that are waiting to be heard and shared. We will listen not only to the words, but also to the pauses between them, to the body language, to the emotion and to what usually remains unspoken.

 

🎶 A special guest of the event is Teodora Ilieva - a musician and vocal researcher, who will conduct a musical workshop with the troupe before the performance. Her contribution will enliven the stage through improvised music and vocal textures that will create an even deeper space for connection.

🍁This is an experience that cannot be told, because each performance is unique and each viewer experiences it individually.

🍁A shared co-creative process that is unique and happens only here and now. The dialogue, the music, the acting - everything is spontaneous and collaborative - both on stage and in the overall performance, because the performance happens through a mutual, continuous exchange between the audience and the team. It is carried out by a team consisting of a conductor, musician and actors.
