Heavy metal legends U.D.O. are returning to Bulgaria for a massive anniversary show

In early 2027, German metal veterans U.D.O. are embarking on the “Triple Anniversary Tour 2027”, which will simultaneously celebrate three important events – Udo Dirkschneider’s 75th birthday, 40 years since the founding of U.D.O. and the release of the band’s long-awaited 20th studio album, which will be released at the beginning of the year via Reigning Phoenix Music.

Of course, Bulgaria is a must-see stop on the tour. The concert in Bulgaria will take place on February 4, 2027 at the Hristo Botev Hall in Sofia.

After the success of the 2023 album Touchdown, U.D.O. are continuing unstoppably forward with brand new material, which is currently in development. While details about the new album are still being kept under wraps, fans can expect to hear the first singles and more information in the coming months.

Few artists in the history of heavy metal have left as vivid and lasting a mark as Udo Dirkschneider. From his early days shaping the genre to leading U.D.O. for four decades, his inimitable voice and uncompromising style have inspired generations of metal fans around the world. With 19 studio albums under his belt and a 20th on the horizon, U.D.O. continues to be a driving force on the global metal scene.

The “Triple Anniversary Tour 2027” kicks off on January 19 in Paris and will take in 32 European cities. During the tour, U.D.O. will perform a special setlist spanning the band’s entire career – from iconic classics and fan favorites to brand new material.
