For the event
The man, created from mud, from soil, from the earth that will one day take him back to himself.
The man who constantly searches, asks questions, strives for the impossible, for the Absolute.
The man who is a fragile, vulnerable, thirsty being for meaning.
The man who loves to death.
Where do we fit all these myths about ourselves.
And how to reconcile our small room with the boundless narrative of the world.
How, when the heart beats like the ticking of a clock.
This body of ours is so perishable.
And at the same time so capricious that it constantly suffers from loneliness.
Loneliness needs love. So that it is not exile.
Love needs a distance to overcome. So that it is not a cliché.
“Body Like Clay” is an attempt to remind ourselves of something essential:
that man is fragile.
that time is short.
that loving does not necessarily mean touching.
But it definitely means you are alive.
