SUNN O))) FOR THE FIRST TIME IN BULGARIA
On October 17th, we welcome the drone giants to Sofia
These are not brackets, but vibrations, and the band's name is simply Sun. Of course, this is known to drone fans, and the vibrations in question will shake the Bulgarian fan base of Sunn O))) for the first time on October 17th at the Joy Station club.
Sunn O))) are launching a thunderous tour in cities they have never played before, and Sofia is joining the tour for the powerful live sound of the Americans. Their scorching live events are not just concerts, but rituals that immerse the audience in slowly unfolding soundscapes of super-powerful guitar riffs, feedback and deep vibrations.
On this tour, Sunn O))) are in an original lineup, including Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson. They will immerse us in the depths of the incandescent sound of legendary tube amplifiers, spewing waves of primal primitive riffs and monolithic sound structures.
On stage since 1998, Sunn O))) have built a unique sound, described as "listening to tectonic plates shifting", "the sonic equivalent of a black hole" and "a journey into the depths of consciousness". Each of their albums is highly anticipated and highly appreciated by critics, and their concerts are events that reprogram the audience and its perceptions.
This time, otherwise always distant, Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson have decided to let fans as close as possible to the process of creating the band's sound fields.
VIP tickets will give access to the most dedicated fans of Sunn O))) to attend the soundcheck and hear it in its entirety. They will also be given special VIP laminates and badge links, as well as the opportunity to take undisturbed photos of the band's equipment. And, of course, the opportunity for early entry and access to the merch stand before the rest of the fans. VIP tickets will cost 170 leva and will include a ticket to the concert. Individual VIP tickets will not be sold.
Tickets for the show by drone legends Sunn O))) will be on sale from tomorrow (Friday, June 27) at 12:00 pm on the epay.go and bilet.bg networks, and their price is 65 leva.
