STONED JESUS Live in Sofia

"One of our best and most emotional concerts are the ones in Sofia", said Igor Sidorenko with a huge smile after the last concert of Stoned Jesus in our country. That is why he had no choice but to include Bulgaria in the tour for the 15th anniversary of his band.

 

Stoned Jesus was formed in 2009 in Kyiv by guitarist and singer Igor Sidorenko and quickly gained popularity on the local scene. And their second album, "Seven Thunders Roar" made them a sensation in the underground rock circles, and the 13-minute epic "I'm the Mountain" literally scrolled YouTube and has more than 15 million views to date.

 

In the 15 years since they have been together, Stoned Jesus have become one of the most successful and internationally known Ukrainian bands. Their concerts are more than 500, they have shared the stage with giants such as Deep Purple, Mastodon, Gojira. With 5 albums, 2 EPs, a number of European and South American tours, Stoned Jesus are now embarking on a tour to celebrate their journey so far.

 

A special guest from the Bulgarian side will be the reef roller Mayak. The band has been active for several years now, regularly rocking Sofia's clubs with loud fuzz rock in the last 3 years. Mayak includes the former guitarist and driving force of the cult Center Teodor Nedev (guitar), as well as Danail Tsvetanov (guitar), Dancho Denitsov (drums) and Simeon Bayatov (bass).
