SOFIA METAL FEST is back more spectacular, more powerful and more rocking!

 

 

 

BEHEMOTH, TESTAMENT, PESTILENCE AND MALTWORM will rock the stage at SOFIA METAL FEST! As you know, the festival returns next year 2024, this time with an emphasis on dark and technical styles in metal. The definition of this edition "More spectacular, more powerful, more shocking" is the shortest and most accurate description of what awaits you this time too! It will be held from 18:30 at the open stage ARENA SOFIA in Borisova Garden, Colodrum Serdika.

 

BEHEMOTH headline this edition. The legendary Poles are one of the biggest names in extreme styles right now, and their legions grow with each passing year, with each of their shows. BEHEMOTH are currently at the peak of their career and will perform in our country for the first time with a headlining festival set and show!

 

TESTAMENT are among the most beloved bands of the native audience. A group that fans have always awaited with great interest and trepidation. On this edition, they will be co-headlining, and in addition to the best of their work, they will also add new music that has not been presented before. Whatever we say about TESTAMENT will not be enough, for that we will only introduce you to their current line-up: Chuck Billy - vocals, Eric Peterson - guitar, Alec Shkolnik - guitar, Steve DiGiorgio - bass, Chris Dovas - drums.

 

PESTILENCE is among the legendary bands whose name fans have always expected to be announced in our country. Something that never happened... until now! We are honored to do so and welcome Patrick Mameli and company as part of SOFIA METAL FEST! Along with DEATH, Atheist and Cynic, PESTILENCE is considered one of the Big 4 and most important for the development of progressive death metal bands.

 

MALTWORM are a force on the home scene! Ever since its creation in 2018, the group has not stopped "harassing" the scenes in our country and some of those abroad. In 2023, they won the WACKEN METAL BATTLE BULGARIA 2023 competition, and a few months later they were the first Bulgarian and among the few such groups to play twice on two of the stages within one edition of the WACKEN OPEN AIR festival.

 

ERIC HUTCHENCE is from Georgia and if until two years ago he was still gaining popularity in Eastern Europe, now it is normal to see his name in the selection of many of the respected festivals in Europe. Eric's show is a mixture of musical original mixes of hit compositions, further supported by percussion instruments and lighting effects. His performance is always heavy, powerful, rousing and invigorating as hell!

Tickets are sold online and at the box office networks of Eventim.bg and Bilet.bg throughout the country. The electronic version of the passes does not need to be printed, but can be scanned directly from a phone. In order to ensure the comfort of the audience, the number of tickets on sale will be smaller than the capacity of Arena Sofia. As the event approaches, their price will increase.

 

Children up to 10 years of age will enter without a ticket, but with a companion with a completed declaration.

 

This event is not subsidized. The copyright for it is settled with Music Author.

 

For every single event organized by BGTSC, the money from the purchased tickets remains with the respective selling company. They are not treated as working capital or profit, therefore in the event of a cancellation due to a force majeure situation, everyone who purchased a ticket is guaranteed to receive their funds within the specified period.

 

BGTSC is a member of the "Stage Music" association and complies with the Code of Ethics for the activities of concert organizers in Bulgaria!
