Sometimes I speak, but it seems that I only hear underwater - a conversation of loneliness.

"Absent Syndrome" is a contemporary dance performance that explores the themes of communication between people and the lack of valuable communication. Through a physical dialogue between the two performers, the performance visualizes the tension between the desire for connection and the inability to make real contact.

 

How do people communicate when the emotional vibration between them is at different levels? When the conversation is an endless cycle without beginning or end? When the only possible way out is separation? This is a dance performance born from the moments in which you feel the inability to be truly heard, to be understood.
