Samodiva Festival

Samodiva is an independent music association created by artists for the benefit of artists, with the goal of easier development of young talents on the Bulgarian scene. Our mission is to show a different example and approach that unites and stimulates alternative music in Bulgaria.

Samodiva kicks off with a two-day festival in Stroeja Open Air on September 20-21, and all proceeds will be invested by the association in bands and artists who are at an early stage of their creative journey. Thus, the team will help them with difficult processes for budding musicians such as pre-production, post-production, sound recording, vision, promotion.

The festival's program will combine established bands such as Nova Generatsia and Ostava, who have agreed to play for the cause of the association, bands that have recently found their loyal audience like Woomb, as well as names that you are yet to hear more about. often: Opium, Parallel and Color. One of Samodiva's ambitions is to create a bridge between the generations of the Bulgarian scene, often distanced from each other.

The basis of the idea are the musicians Mono Nikolov and Georgi Linev (Kan Wakan, Woomb).
