Psychological types of Jung and Myers-Briggs – professions with examples from cinema

What is our psychological type and how does it influence the way we work, choose a profession and develop?

On October 4, at Nexus space, we will continue the conversation about the psychological types of Jung and Myers-Briggs, this time with a focus on professional guidance and development.

We will start from the history and formation of the idea of psychological types and gradually move on to their practical application.

We will learn to recognize the psychological functions that shape the different types, and we will consider how they manifest themselves in the professional environment – in the way we think, make decisions, communicate, work with people and approach our tasks.

We will talk about questions such as:

How do we recognize the different psychological functions?

How do they shape our psychological type?

Which professional environments and roles can be closer to the different types?

How can a better understanding of oneself help in choosing a profession and professional development?

How do different types interact with each other in a work environment?

🎬 And as always - cinema will be our illustrative material.

We will use examples from classic films and popular series to recognize psychological types not only as a theory, but in familiar images, characters and professional roles.

The lecture is suitable both for people who are already familiar with the Jung and Myers-Briggs systems, and for those who are encountering it for the first time and want to understand more about their own strengths, their way of functioning and possible directions for professional development.
