We have fully envisioned the author's content and the interactive interaction with the audience.

The festival aims to annually present theatrical productions by Bulgarian and international artists, independent companies and productions, emphasizing entirely original content and interactive interaction with the audience. The festival also aims to show theater genres interacting with other stage forms or theater concepts – dance theater, playback theater, stand-up comedy, improvisational theater, etc.

The festival program of the 1st edition of FAT includes 8 author's performances, 2 theater workshops led by experts in the field, discussions, an exhibition with free access of photos and props from performances and a projection of video materials of the Dramedy Theater.

???? Price of two-day festival tickets:

 

Regular: BGN 90.

With a discount: BGN 70 (students, pensioners and members of the "Creators" Club)

Family ticket: BGN 200 (for the whole family for the entire festival)

⚠️ Two-day ticket includes: opening, closing of the festival, 8 performances, 2 discussions and 2 workshops, exhibition.

???? 10:30 – 11:20 Game Over - author's solo show by Hovhannes Torosyan

 

???? 11:50 - 13:50 Theater workshop "Awaken the creator in yourself" - Workshop for spectators, including theater games and exercises that provoke spontaneity, develop creativity and adaptability. The goal is for the participants to meet their own creative nature.

???? 15:30 - 16:30 Concert of the Dramedy Band on the stairs in front of the New Theater of the National Palace of Culture /free access/

 

???? 17:00 - 18:30 "Who are you?" - an author's performance by Dramedy Theater about the identification and awareness of one's own personality.

???? 19:30 - 21:00 "The Playwright's Life" - a performance by the Playback Theater "Here and Now" - an interactive improvisational theater whose script is the stories of people from the audience.

 

???? 21:00 - 21:30 Discussion with the audience - a conversation between actors, spectators and the festival team, sharing of impressions, questions to the performers

???? 10:00 - 11:00 "The space in between" - an interactive performance, an invitation to a conversation with a human body that is looking for that elusive and immaterial space of the real meeting between people.

???? 12:30 - 14:00 "With/The Beast in the Man" - an author's performance by Dramedy Theater about believing in one's own abilities, created together with actors between 6 and 13 years old.

???? 15:00 - 16:30 Theater workshop "Discover the actor in yourself" - Workshop for spectators, including theater games and exercises that provoke leaving the comfort zone, realizing the specifics of acting work and getting to know the cuisine of the actor's preparation.

???? 17:30 - 18:30 Dance-theater "Rituals of the Soul" of Dance Company DYN, Burgas - The performance explores the images of the Soul and the practices that create a connection between the Soul and the body. The production uses a synthetic language, uniting movement and speech.

???? 19:30 - 20:00 "P(r)ogledni" - author's performance by blind actors based on true stories from the lives of blind people, created together with the blind participants.

???? 20:00 - 21:00 "Eyes of the People" - an author's performance by Dramedy Theater about the search for one's own place in the world, personal desires and aspirations, our connection with others and the universe.

The initiator of the festival is the "Dramedi" Theater, part of the "Creators" Association, Sofia. Through the First Author's Theater Festival (FAT), Dramedy will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its creation.
