The Eighth Miracle

"The Eighth Wonder" is the fourth and largest performance in the repertoire of "Bulgare" with a premiere on June 14, 2016. Producer Hristo Dimitrov is the author of the original directorial combination of film, theater and our dynamic folk dances and songs, following an intriguing script, which, together with almost the entire choreography of the performance, is another realized authorial idea of ​​the creator of "Bulgare".

 

The audience immerses themselves in the captivating journey into the world of unequal musical dimensions in Bulgarian folklore, defined as the "Eighth Wonder" of the world and rediscovers for themselves the personality of a faithful friend of Bulgaria from a century ago - the correspondent of the newspaper "Times" James Boucher.

 

The role of the Irish journalist is magnificently played by Hollywood actor Ben Cross. Bulgarian actor Atanas Srebrev, in the image of Hungarian composer Bela Bartok, is his partner in the conversation that the two have during their journey on the Orient Express.

 

The narrative goes through 7 musical and dance folklore scenes, impressively performed by the dancers and soloists of "Bulgare".
