On February 13 in Sofia (Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture), the Bulgarian audience will have the unique opportunity to relive the magic of Nigel Kennedy – a musical innovator and a true phenomenon in the world of classical music. Recognized as one of the most talented and expressive violinists of our time, Kennedy is an artist who is not afraid to step outside the box and breathe new life into classical works.

 

Kennedy is not only a performer, but also a composer with a clearly expressed style, who relies on melodic lines and rhythmic structure, allowing each note to touch the listener. “Music is a place where our souls meet,” says Kennedy, adding that melody and rhythm are the basis through which emotions and inspiration are shared.

 

The program of both concerts will feature his original Violin Concerto No. 1 "Fur Ludwig Van" - his latest and most extensive work. Inspired by Beethoven, but completely original, this concert in 4 parts carries the spirit of the great composer into modern times, without losing its optimistic melodiousness and spiritual message. Kennedy's music is distinguished by an organic combination of different cultural influences, imbued with a strong sense of humanity and lyricism.

 

A special highlight in the concert program is the participation of Georgi Andreev (gadulka), as well as the Vratsa Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Hristo Pavlov.

 

This combination of Bulgarian musical talents with Kennedy's virtuoso style promises to offer a deep and inspiring musical experience.
