Before King Gizzard's first concert this Sunday, we invite you to one of the first screenings of a brand new film that all music fans in Bulgaria have been eagerly awaiting!
Radio Africa is the first Bulgarian documentary on African music. It features a series of interviews and fragments of live performances of Bulgarian artists involved in African arts and prominent African musicians who performed in Bulgaria in late 2024 and early 2025. The artists in the movie reveal their musical ways, their mission in art, and the role of African culture in a worldwide context with its contributions, challenges, and perspectives.
The list of the participating artists include: Viuex Farka Toure, Boubacar Traore, Bassekou Kouyate, Noura Mint Seymali and more.
The film has English subtitles.
