Mister T

Mister T. (Dimitris Tentinis) was born in 1983 in Kavala (Northern Greece). He started writing his music ideas and making beats experimentally in 2001. The whole thing was born on his father’s personal recording studio. Past classical music studies also influenced him for his new direction. In 2012 released officially his first tracks by joining Cold Busted label (Los Angeles / USA) and since then counting 10 solo albums. He also released music on Timewarp Greece, Katakana Edits, Digest Music, S!X Music, Breakbeat Paradise, Anarkick Records, Millennium Jazz Music/ UK, Sound Exhibitions/ Italy και ChinChin Records / Germany. 

  

Mister T’s style could be described as groove with a lot of funk and hip hop music influences. Also year to year, many music styles around the globe came up in his productions. Listeners can clearly hear various references from the Nigerian afrobeat music scene and Jamaican reggae-dub style to Brazilian flavors and European electronic music. His cuts have become staples in the dj sets and playlists of underground tastemakers and there’s also recognition from the mainstream as his music has appeared in brand campaigns from the likes of Capital One, Walmart, Nike and Hennessey. Also, many of his tunes are already remixed by well-known artists like Club Des Belugas, Kaleidoscope Jukebox, Timewarp Inc, Savages Y Suefo, Omegaman, Jayl Funk, Umbo, Funky Destination, My Neighbour Is, Mojo Rising, Sixfingerz, Green Street, Es-K. 

 

You’ll have the chance to hear Mister T. live on 28th of March when he’ll take over the decks at Malkata Tekila Sofia.
