LEPROUS RETURNS TO SOFIA IN 2026

The Norwegian art metal band will play at the Joy Station club on January 29

LEPROUS are one of the bands that we don’t have to wait long to see in Bulgaria. They simply love playing here, as they say at every one of their concerts in our country. And the love is mutual – each of their shows here is filled with devoted fans of the melodic and artistic interpretation of modern metal that the Norwegians have been presenting for over 20 years. LEPROUS will play again in our country on January 29 at the Joy Station club.

LEPROUS released their eighth album last year, warmly received by both critics and the public “Melodies of Atonement” and the tour for it will continue until the end of winter. The album marks a significant change in the direction of the band. As frontman Einer Solberg shares, the main goal was to remove the orchestral elements and emphasize the pure sound of the five. The result is a more direct, heavy and contemporary album that is both recognizable and radically different from their previous works.

Since their formation in 2001, LEPROUS has constantly reinvented themselves, establishing themselves as one of the most innovative and influential bands in the progressive metal scene. With each release, they build on their ambitions and win an ever wider audience.
