The world pop opera sensation IL DIVO is coming for a concert in Plovdiv

 

 

 

Exactly 20 years after their debut, the famous IL DIVO come to charm the competent Bulgarian audience with a magical show on October 4, 2024 in Plovdiv, SILA hall.

 

IL DIVO ("Il Divo" or "The Star" in Italian) is a super successful vocal group created two decades ago in Great Britain with the personal intervention of legendary producer Simon Cowell (Britain Got Talent), who was inspired by the sound and emotion of the mythical Three Tenors.

 

The quartet literally exploded with triumphant success and became a pioneer of the new genre called "classical crossover" or "popera". Their formula subtly and artistically mixes famous opera arias, pop songs and evergreens into a velvety soft and stylish sound.

 

Today the group includes:

 

- the Swiss tenor Urs Büchler

 

- American tenor David Miller

 

- the French tenor Sebastien Izambar

 

- American baritone Stephen Labrie

 

IL DIVO have more than 10 platinum status studio albums and sales of over 30 million worldwide. They have 160 hits in 35 countries and their concerts with only the first four albums sold 2 million tickets. Their first world tour went through 60 cities in 18 countries, etc., etc.
