Kan Wakan is back!

 

He will take the stage again in Sofia and Plovdiv on February 27th and 28th, 2026.

 

We say "returning" because the project has never stopped. Rather, it exists in a parallel time, a different space and at its own pace.

 

His music develops slowly, shaped by immutability and constancy. From alternating periods of approach and retreat, of dynamics,

 

pauses and changing context, in which one begins to hear and feel things differently...

 

Over time, this becomes not just a part of, but the creative process itself.

 

In these two concert evenings, Kan Wakan will present us with his already familiar, characteristic and beloved audio-visual set.

 

It is in them that his new music will be presented live for the first time.

 

Sound and image will intertwine simultaneously and interact, changing the feeling of presence and space.

 

The video projections of the performance, taking place in real time, are by visual artist Polina Gerasimova, who has been associated with Kan Wakan since its

 

appearance in Bulgaria and whose collaboration complements and completes the overall feel and impact of the audio-visual performance.

 

This is a process that is influenced by the moment and the live interaction with the music.

 

Several special guests will also join the performance at different times.

 

Their presence is part of the development of the set and the way it will unfold over the course of the show and the evening.

 

This event is not part of a tour and is not planned as a frequent repeat.
