Come to the first extraordinary J-Rock concert held in Romania by the famous Japanese artist MI Ishihara Takamasa (石原崇雅), stage name MIYAVI. The event takes place on 23rd of September 2023, in the outdoor area of the National Arena Bucharest (access from Maior Coravu Street).

The concert, which is part of the artist's 20th-anniversary European tour, is held within the 10th edition of the Asia Fest, a festival celebrating Asian cultures.

MIYAVI is a highly acclaimed Japanese musician, actor, producer and philanthropist. He began his career in 1999 as a guitarist in the visual kei rock band Dué le quartz. Since 2002, he has pursued a solo career. In 2007, he became a member of the rock supergroup S.K.I.N., and in 2009, he founded his own company, J-Glam. He has had and continues to have tours worldwide. In 2022, he became a member of the rock supergroup The Last Rockstars.

In 2014, Miyavi appeared in the film "Unbroken," directed by Angelina Jolie, and went on to play smaller roles in American productions such as "Kong: Skull Island" and "Stray." Since 2013, Miyavi has been a volunteer at ICNUR (UNHCR - United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). In this role, he has visited refugee camps around the world. In November 2017, he was officially appointed as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador.

MIYAVI bridges cultures from around the world through his music and philanthropic messages. His unique style of playing the guitar, using slap guitar techniques (using his fingers instead of a pick), has taken him on 8 world tours, with 380 live shows in over 30 countries. Fans refer to MIYAVI as the "Samurai Guitarist."

Other achievements include arranging the Japanese version of the theme song for the successful film "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation," producing music for a Honda commercial, creating music for SMAP, and collaborating with various other artists. In September 2021, he released the album "Imaginary" and successfully completed a tour of 20 shows in North America, a tour of 5 shows in Japan, and a tour of 2 shows in Hawaii.

The artist has released 13 studio albums, including:

"NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO" (2019). The album launch concert took place at the Los Angeles Dodgers stadium.
"Holy Nights" (2020)
"Imaginary" (September 2021), coinciding with a co-starring role in the Netflix film "KATE."

In the fall of 2021, he was a judge on the Japanese version of the show "The Masked Singer," aired on Amazon, and successfully completed a tour of 20 shows in North America, 5 shows in Japan, and 2 shows in Hawaii.

MIYAVI made his debut on the big screen in "Unbroken," produced and directed by Angelina Jolie, an Oscar-nominated production. Since then, he has appeared in the animated series "ARCANE," which won an Emmy, the 2017 blockbuster "Kong: Skull Island," and the live-action adaptation of the popular manga "Bleach."

His recent filmography also includes the films "Stray" (2019) and "Maleficent 2" (2020).

Other accomplishments include arranging the Japanese version of the musical theme for the renowned film "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation," producing music for a Honda commercial, creating music for SMAP, and collaborating with various other artists.

Additionally, his songs are featured in the soundtracks of famous anime series such as "Naruto!," "Invaded," "Chainsaw Man," "Bleach," "Spy x Family," "My Hero Academia," "Blue Lock," and "Mob Psycho 100."

As the brand ambassador for Beats, MIYAVI has appeared in commercials in Japan and on billboards worldwide, as part of the Moncler Beyond campaign.

He has also appeared in global advertising campaigns for brands such as American Airlines, Golden State Warriors, Dell Computers, and McLaren.

He was the face of Gucci Japan in the Gucci Off the Grid campaign.

He also modeled at Paris Fashion Week 2018, walking the runway for designer Yohji Yamamoto's Y-3 collection and for the brand ADEAM.

In 2021, a Fender Telecaster guitar with his signature was released.
