Premiere of the book "Ikigai: Meaning as a Path Forward" by Violeta Kyoseva, with the special participation of composer Shingo Masuda

 

"Ikigai Evening" is a boutique meeting between Bulgarian and Japanese culture - premiere of the book "Ikigai: Meaning as a Path Forward" by Violeta Kyoseva and musical presence of Shingo Masuda, one of the most interesting Japanese performers of traditional string instruments.

 

With the kind hospitality of the Japanese Culture Center Kokoro, where Japanese culture is felt as a presence, not as a decor.

 

The evening will combine:

 

- The personal story behind the book "Ikigai: Meaning as a Path Forward", with an opportunity to get acquainted with the Ikigai philosophy

 

- Live performance by Shingo Masuda - a Japanese artist who creates contemporary music inspired by Japanese sensibility and minimalism
