The maximum pressure that one person can exert on a string, a snare drum, a room, a community or a system; the power, the energetic synchronicity, the relentless consistency, the collective synapsis and the antipodal riffs of AC/DC, with a huge dose of endless love for music and incredible musical heredity - all this, concentrated to the extreme, is called Frenzee.

 

We can be proud that the Bulgarian scene has known Frenzee since their very beginning as a group, when Apolonia walked around the stage like a beast locked in a sound cage and crashed into the wall of Antonis' riffs, then into the rhythmic attacks of Nikos, and the audience, who came from the neighboring hall, frantically shouted "more", Antonis embarrassedly replied "we have no more", and someone shouted "start the set again".

 

And to turn the Mixtape into a collective nerve, a common impulse, a synapse between people, amplifiers, sweat, concrete, drums and shots, they decided to come now, when they are at the top of the Australian scene and their name is ranked alongside that of Amyl and the Sniffers, accompanied by Grim Rhythm. Who?

 

There is something strange about this band – you hear them and say: oh, stoner, and while you ecstatically tear the air with joy, and their wall of guitar riffs overwhelms you, you start to think that this is just fast, clean, technical metal that sounds great even without vocals, and suddenly, through the extremely warm stoner guitar riffs, folded into crazy metal structures, that mystique of Aussie punk rock creeps in – a repetitive, stubbornly self-constructed, damn strong entry point into another bittersweet musical world.

 

14/09/2026 is the Monday when these two groups will turn club Mixtape 5 into one common dominant pulsation and one beat, because this is the power of true rock and roll.
