Quality Spanish olive oil brands are frequently awarded high distinctions at prestigious international competitions, while Spain is the indisputable world leader in the production of liquid gold in the Mediterranean. During this master class, we shall enjoy some of the best olive oil products in the world from the three iconic provinces of Andalusia—Seville, Córdoba and Jaén—the thousands-year-old lands of olive groves and olive oil.
Anna Petkova is a Certified Olive Oil Sommelier at the International Culinary Centre and Olive Oil Times Education Lab in New York, and an experienced olive oil taster. She created her own project entitled My Pure Olive and is an ambassador of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) culture.
The master class will also be joined by a Spanish guest from Nobleza del Sur, revolutionaries in the production of the highest quality natural extra virgin olive oil in Jaén.
Master bites will also be offered to demonstrate how each olive oil is combined with food and how it is used in food preparation. This responsible task is entrusted to Sevda Dimitrova, the 2016 winner of Master Chef Bulgaria.
