We invite you on April 24, 2026 to the long-awaited screening of the documentary EndoWhat? in Sofia. Created in 2016, the film directed by Shannon Kohn aims to raise public awareness of the disease endometriosis, as well as to draw the attention of health professionals to its symptoms, which are often overlooked.

 

The film debunks the myths surrounding endometriosis, while providing expert information and interviews with leading specialists, researchers and personal stories of women living with this condition.

 

Since its release in 2016, the film has been highly praised and received reviews from media outlets such as Newsweek, which called it “the first step in an education plan and a plan for change”, The Guardian has defined it as “the film of the year, because the truth it reveals is powerful and inspiring”, and The New York Times has confirmed that the film “debunks the myths surrounding endometriosis”.
