For the event

The business event that is unlike any other...

15 speakers.

5 minutes on stage.

Slides change every 15 seconds.

Ads are banned.

Censorship – even more so.

Unprecedented parallels between business and life...

After five completely sold-out editions in Sofia, without a penny or a cent for advertising, DisruptHR moves to Joy Station - two and a half times larger than anything before.

What is DisruptHR?

DisruptHR is a global event for working with people, culture and technology, held in 173 cities around the world.

The format takes place under the motto:

Teach me something, but do it quickly.

Is this an HR event?

No, it is not.

The name is misleading. (Like many things in life...)

DisruptHR is an event for everyone who works with people, culture and technology.

In the hall you will find:

• entrepreneurs

• managers

• HR, marketing and IT specialists

• people from business and technology

• students

• in general, all kinds of curious minds

If your work has something to do with people – tonight is for you.

The largest edition so far

The last editions of DisruptHR Sofia gathered about 300 people and the halls were always full.

That is why this time the event is moving to Joy Station, which will be waiting for us with 700 seats.

More people, more ideas, more energy.

The theme of this edition: OLD TIMES

We are tired of talking only about:

AI

influencers

creators

digitalization

optimization

the professions of the future

the skills of the future

The future, the future, the future...

We are missing something important:

The past has something to teach us.

On the DisruptHR Sofia stage, we will return to the time when:

• we recorded songs from the radio on cassettes

• the internet connected with the screams of a modem (it sounded like a wounded dolphin, remember?)

• we called home phones and sometimes (and it's good to live) we encountered duplex

• we waited for days for the photos from the sea to develop (it's hard for you if you light the tape...)

This time taught us many lessons:

We knew that resources were not infinite. We kept our dolls, Tamagotchis, friends.

We were patient. The best things took a long time to come – a letter, a Zhigula, a movie, a song on the radio. And that's exactly why they were so valuable.

Joy was easy to achieve. A piece of "Shock" gum could make the day great.

People were more important to us than likes. Friendships happened on the street or on the bench - not in a chat.

We managed on our own. We grew up with a key in the door. There was no "Find my iPhone" and our people didn't know where we were. If something broke - you fixed it. If you got lost - you found your way. If something happened - you saved yourself.

Community mattered.

There wasn't a neighbor whose name we didn't know. You went to Uncle Pesho if your bike was broken, to Grandma Lyuba - if you had a wound that needed to be washed.

We knew that the new had value, but the old had even greater value.

Important things were passed down - books, furniture, relationships, stories...

Life wasn't comfortable.

But that's exactly why it gave us so much...

What would happen on stage?

🎤 15 speakers

⚡ each with their own 5-minute presentation

🎭 surprises on stage (phenomenal, by the way)

🤝 networking with 700 people - the coolest audience in Bulgaria

In short, as always at DisruptHR: you never know exactly what will happen.

Why come?

Because this is not a conference, training or bar, it is all in one.

You will hear ideas that:

• will make you laugh

• will make you think

• will make you argue with your friends afterwards (or during...)

Important

DisruptHR only happens live.

There is no online broadcast.

If you are not there – you will hear about it the next day, because LinkedIn goes crazy after the event.

The first 100 tickets are half price.

After that, tickets go to standard price.
