Archaeologists in the city
What is hidden under the streets of Sofia?
In this special children's tour, young participants will become archaeologists, researchers and detectives of the past to discover the secrets of ancient Serdica.
Our journey begins at the mineral springs, where each child will receive a small bottle with a "magic potion of time" - the first clue to the world hidden under modern Sofia.
From there, we will head underground, pass through the layers of history, step on a real Roman street and reach the Eastern Gate of the ancient city.
Along the way, children will become real archaeologists:
🔎 they will look for traces of the past;
🪙 they will discover lost coins;
🏺 they will understand why it is important not only what is found, but also where it was found;
🧩 and they will learn how archaeologists can reconstruct the history of an entire city from a few stones, objects and traces.
The finale of the adventure awaits us at the Archaeological Museum, where we will search for real artifacts from Serdica and discover the last trace of our journey.
An adventure with history, riddles and games, in which Sofia becomes a city on top of another city, and the children become real detectives of the past.
The group is limited to 10 children.
The presence of a parent is mandatory.
Tickets are purchased only for children.
