COLOR HAZE from Munich - THE INSTITUTION of the German psychedelic and heavy rock scene! The band is a master at painting pictures and creating soundscapes with their music. Stefan Koglek and company are celebrating 30 years on stage this year and are planning their first ever Balkan tour. An opportunity for all of us to hear and see this psychedelic kraut rock phenomenon in Sofia, on October 8, in the big hall of the Mixtape 5 club!

 

And just like in nature, in the sound world of COLOR HAZE there is a constant movement up and down. Soft, soft melodies drift through the space and grow more intense. Relaxed yet specific rhythms are set, creating a captivating groove that instantly hypnotizes the listener. The guitar, just dreamy and gentle, becomes angrier, louder, more intense. The tracks unleash their 'electro-hash' tension in seething, powerfully humming heavy rock eruptions, only to collapse back in on themselves.

 

COLOR HAZE have 14 full-length albums behind them. They have headlined more than once at ALL small and large psychedelic and stoner rock scenes around the world! Their sound is warm, but primal, with the style's characteristic PHAZ. The albums were recorded and mixed absolutely analog. With COLOR HAZE, everything is big - from their sound and equipment, to the duration of their concerts.

 

Stefan Koglek (vocals and guitar) has been managing the cult label Elektrohasch for years, through which more than one stoner rock album has been released, which have become classics of the style.

 

With them comes Smokemaster from Cologne, who we know play psychedelic rock influenced by the legends of the 1960s.
