"Brazil Acoustic"

The group “Brazilakustic” was created by Dimitar Semov and Pavleta Semova in 2007. They were joined by Stefan Stoykov (guitar), Veselin Veselinov-Eko (bass guitar), and later Milen Kukosharov (piano).

 

In 2008, Pavleta Semova was invited to sing with the Brazilian Terese Cristina and the group “Semente” within the framework of the Brazilian Culture Festival in Varna, the following year she participated in the concert of Fabiana Coza, and in the fall of 2009 in the Small City Theater “Behind the Canal” she performed in the concert of the Brazilian jazz singer Ithamara Koorax. Among the numerous participations of “Brazilakustic” in clubs and festivals in the country and abroad are: “Jazz-Latino Fest – Istanbul”-2012; “Jazz Fest Bansko”; “Spirit of Burgas”; “Festival of Brazilian Culture-Varna”; “Blues Fest Burgas”; “Balchik classic days” “Plovdiv Jazz Fest – 2015”.

The band’s repertoire includes original songs, as well as songs by Elis Regina, A.Jobim, Maria Rita, Djavan, etc.
