I paint like ... Vincent Van Gogh - creative workshop for children

For the first time, we will welcome young art lovers in the space of Center 24, in Geo Milev district, 245 "Kosta Lulchev" Str. The beginning of the children's studio is at 4:00 p.m., and at 7:00 p.m. we welcome the already grown-up children in front of the easels and with a glass of wine!

"For my part, I know nothing for sure, but the sight of the stars makes me dream," Vincent wrote to his brother Theo in the distant 1888.

Where was "Starry Night" painted? For whom was "Sunflowers" painted? In the creative studio visited by the Dutch artist, we will try to tell the children his personal story and introduce them to some of his iconic paintings.

The creative studio "I paint like... Vincent Van Gogh" for children is conditionally divided into two parts with a total duration of two hours.

Theatrical performance / interactive games and activities – the workshop leader introduces children to key moments from the tragic history of the great Dutch master. Through various games, guided by suggestopedic principles, we will introduce children to the emotionality of Van Gogh’s drawings, the expressive colors and saturated shapes in his canvases.

Free drawing – with the help of the leader, we will encourage children to use science to transform their view of post-impressionism.

The workshop lasts two hours.

The event is suitable for children from 6 to 12 years old.
