From November 18 to 22, at the foot of Todorka and Vihren—amidst the marble giants of the Pirin Mountains—we will once again experience the most thrilling stories from the world of mountains and adventure together.

⭐ STARS OF BANSKO FILM FEST 2026:
• 🇵🇱 Bartek Ziemski (Poland) – the Polish high-altitude mountaineer and ski-mountaineer who, amidst increasing commercialization, has uncompromisingly demonstrated that it is possible to achieve significant feats while guided by the core values of elite mountaineering. • 🇦🇺 Michael Dillon (Australia) – adventure filmmaker and personal cinematographer for Edmund Hillary.
• 🇩🇪 Felix Berg (Germany) – professional speaker and mountaineer whose career combines technical climbing, high-altitude mountaineering, and expeditions to mountains around the world.
• 🇮🇹 Aaron Durogati (Italy) – two-time paragliding world champion and a prominent figure in modern free-flight.
• 🇬🇧 Pete Whittaker (UK) – one of Britain’s leading climbers and a world-renowned name in crack climbing and big-wall solo ascents.
Among the Bulgarian guests appearing on stage will be Assoc. Prof. Kancho Dolapchiev; world record holder and leading Bulgarian paraglider pilot Veselin "Veso" Ovcharov—the first Bulgarian pilot to master "infinity tumbling," setting a world record of 613 consecutive rotations and achieving a personal cross-country (XC) record of 555 km in Brazil—presenting "Black and White: Flying and the Choice Between What You Love and What You Fear"; and Pirin Galov—ultramarathoner and mountain runner, who took second place at the Ticino Wildlands 500 after a grueling 500 km race across the Alps. Eng. Dr. Tsvetan Parov and Dr. Kremena Georgieva with the presentation "The Giant Caves of Laos"; Kalin Hristov—known from the show *Games of Will* and a caver from the "Pod Rab" club—who will present the project "In the Footsteps of Botev’s Rebels," involving the creation of a historical trail along the route taken by the rebels following the battles in the Vratsa Balkan Mountains; Georgi Bistrin, a coach for Special Olympics Bansko athletes; and Toncho Tonchev—the only Bulgarian to have twice climbed Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) without supplemental oxygen—with the presentation "History of Ascents of Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) in the Nepalese Himalayas."
