For the event
Twenty years and 20 editions of DAYS OF CHALLENGES!
We will celebrate them with an exhibition and by providing a stage for world-class Bulgarian and foreign athletes and adventurers, and films that will touch us with their stories, humanity, suspense and cause. The charismatic bigwall specialist Nicolas Favresse (Belgium) returns with 2 of his films, the rising German star Sofie Paulus will present us with her alternative view of climbing, and the lord of the Central Asian mountains and steppes - Cedric Tassan (France, mountain bike), will remind us of our essence as travelers.
The films cover extreme practices in the Arctic and Antarctic Oceans and in the mountains of Chile, Canada, the Alps, Central Asia, the Himalayas and the Karakorum.
Almost all films are premiered in Bulgaria. We believe that lovers of mountaineering, ocean expanses and extreme sports will also embrace initiatives for cleaner mountains and for responsible and sustainable tourism.
