10 Years The Sunday Bunch

Ten years ago, The Sunday Bunch started as a passion project — a gathering of like-minded heads humbly pushing the Bulgarian electronic scene forward. A decade later we are still here. We never thought we would make it this far, celebrating such a major milestone. But we will be marking it the only way we know: with a day and night for the books. 

 

For this special occasion, we are taking over a “virgin” location in the heart of Sofia. Untouched, untested, and ready to be transformed using the best formula: the proper sound system, the right music, and the best people. 

 

At the center of it all is Sonja Moonear. A true force for the last two decades, Sonja’s refined yet unpredictable selections have made her one of the most respected artists in the game. From her roots in Geneva’s scene to playing some of the world’s most iconic dance floors — Fabric, Panorama Bar, DC-10 — she embodies the perfect balance of depth and raw spontaneity. With an ear for the obscure and an affinity for creating smooth, hypnotic narratives, her sets are journeys in the purest sense.

 

Of course, we couldn’t do this without our own. Stephan Panev, Deyan Dimitrov, and Stefan Alexandrov have been part of The Sunday Bunch DNA since the early days. Immaculate selectors in their own right, they have shaped the local scene with their dedication, distinctive styles, and overall attitude behind the decks. Having them on board isn’t just fitting — it’s essential.
