Playback Theatre Varna presents "Stories that Shaped Us", an interactive performance where sтories from the audience come to live on stage. Let's meet and allow to connect beyond language or other barriers, so even if English is not your preferred language, don't hesitate to come.

Playback Theatre is an improvisational theatre where art, ritual, and social interaction come together to create a unique environment where the personal stories of the audience are "played back" by the actors and musicians in the moment. We are celebrating this year the 50th anniversary since the creation of this artistic form.
From May to October 2025, Playback Theatre companies from around the world are invited to create and perform shows in their local communities under the shared theme “Stories That Shaped Us” and this performance is part of this initiative.

The performances serve as a space for open dialogue and connection through personal stories and shared human experiences. Through sharing, art, and play, we facilitate free and authentic expression on both individual and group levels, with empathy and acceptance.

The sharing, music, and acting - everything is spontaneous and interactive - both on stage and throughout the entire performance because the show happens through constant mutual exchange between the audience and the team.
