Horse Jumper of Love (USA) w/ Mono and the Stereos live at Club Pave

Horse Jumper of Love започват като трио тийнейджъри, свирещи по домашни концерти в Бостън. През 2016 г., едва на 19, вокалистът и китарист Димитри Джанопулос започва да пише едноименния им дебют в мазето на родителите си, без особени очаквания. Първоначално издаден в Bandcamp и на касета, албумът постепенно намира своята публика, преди да получи по-широко разпространение от Run For Cover Records през 2017 г.

Aлбумът се превръща в един от важните записи за завръщането на slowcore и shoegaze в инди сцената през 2010. Десет години по-късно той е преживян отново, в ремастерирано делукс издание с неиздавани дема, B-sides и алтернативни версии, ръчно изписани китарни табове и архивни снимки - поглед назад към историята на един албум, който никой не е очаквал да стигне толкова далеч.

Към тях се присъединяват Mono and the Stereos - група, която само за две години успява да изгради своя орбита на българската сцена, съчетавайки фолк и инди, преплетени с влияния от класическия рок. 

Изпълняват множество концерти в България, MENT в Любляна, и още няколко фестивални участия. До момента са свирили редом до Nouvelle Vague, Black Country, New Road, едни от основните им влияния, и Pete Doherty.

Horse Jumper of Love started as three teenagers playing house shows in Boston. In 2016, at just 19, guitarist and vocalist Dimitri Giannopoulos wrote their self-titled debut in his parents’ basement, with little expectation beyond simply putting the songs out into the world. First released quietly on Bandcamp and cassette, the album found an audience of its own before “Run For Cover Records" gave it a wider release in 2017.

Its rough-edged, aching slowcore went on to become a defining record of the 2010s slowcore and shoegaze revival. Ten years later, Horse Jumper of Love returns as a remastered deluxe edition, expanded with unreleased demos, B-sides and alternate versions, handwritten guitar tabs and archival photos - a look back at the story behind a record that was never supposed to be this big.

Joining them are Mono and the Stereos - a band that, in just two years, has carved out its own place on the Bulgarian scene, blending folk and indie with influences from classic rock.

They have played numerous shows across Bulgaria, as well as MENT in Ljubljana and several other festivals. So far, they have shared the stage with Nouvelle Vague, Black Country, New Road, one of their main influences, and Pete Doherty.
