eHealth Summit will take place on Wednesday, November 23 

This event aims to bring everything we need to know about the health ecosystem into the spotlight. The summit thus offers broad perspectives on how technology is revolutionizing medicine.

The event is aimed for professionals in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, those whose activity is related to the manufacturing and distribution of medical devices, as well as for lovers of health assessment devices.

Session AI (artificial intelligence) in health: core challenges: 

 

Speaker: Dr. Ligia Kornowska, General Manager of the Polish Hospital Federation, the largest hospital organisation in this country and leader of the ”AI Healthcare Coalition” for Poland. Mrs. Kornowsa has been nominated among the ”100 most influential people in the Polish healthcare system” for the past 3 years and has held leadership positions in leading Polish healthcare start-ups. 

• Session From beneficiaries to co-creators: getting patients involved in developing eHealth solutions. eHealth providers strive to provide tools that are usable, scalable, and successfully adopted by their intended users. However, user adoption is often low and attrition rates are quite high for most such tools. The session highlights how getting the patients involved in the development of eHealth solutions can bring value, including better acceptance and adoption. 

 

Speakers: 

• Christine Jacob, health-related lecturer and researcher at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in North-Western Switzerland FHNW. With more than 20 years of experience in the sector, Christine is an experienced healthcare executive who has held several international leadership positions in major pharmaceutical companies such as Roche and Novartis. 

Steve Bourke, CEO and founder of PersonalPulse GmbH. Bourke is a lawyer and represents patients’ interests. He works with patients to create healthcare tools that are relevant, usable and sustainable. He has worked with several partners in the healthcare ecosystem, and large pharmaceutical companies including Roche and Novartis. He is the co-founder of the RheumaCura Foundation, an organization whose mission is that Rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases can be prevented and cured.
